Looking for Alaska

I have recently begun reading Looking for Alaska by John Greene. Nothing has happened yet to really grab my attention. Just like when I read Living Dead Girl. I have mainly been reading this book at school but I plan to take a day and read a good chunk of it soon, just like I did with Living Dead Girl.

This book is sort of neutral to me at the moment, if that makes sense. It’s just a normal situation right now. There have been a few incidents that I find interesting. Fights with girls friends and oh, almost drowning in a lake. I couldn’t forget that one. All I’m saying is that there are enough interesting things happening to keep me wanting to read it.

A Bad Boy Can Be Good For a Girl by Tanya Lee Stone

Two of my friends have read this book and said it was really good and worth reading weather you could relate to it or not. It was just one of those books that every girl should read. It would either help you get closure on a past relationship (relating to the book), or warn you for a future one (not relating to it…yet). I am only a few pages in but I expect to be finished it soon because it is a book-in-verse. I also hope to be done it quick so I can continue reading Looking for Alaska.

  3. I think so. It's just one of those books that is appropriate for all teen girls to read. It helps teen girls realize that even though the boy you like may seem like Mr. Perfect, he isn't always. I hate to admit this but lots of teen girls are naive about this sort of thing to. They get to caught up in the fact that a boy likes them.
